    Agree.

    More like a clang-crunk.

Well not a clunk as in noisy but a clunk as in a nice mechanical feel.

Sticking a broom handle in Pinno's spokes as he rides past.

Ting, ting, tonk tonk, ting ting, tonk tonk...

The satisfying sound of a feeble, short sighted accountant attempting to stick a broom handle in my spokes (in vain).

    Thathunk.

The equally satisfying sound of same accountant tripping over and banging his nut on a lamp post as he fails to execute his mission.

    Bwahahahaha...

The sound of the disgruntled minions looking at Stevo's bandaged head on Monday morning.

I'm calling this one out as you only hear the gear that rips out and that doesn't clunk, then they only clunk might be you decking it.

Gear thet rips out goes ping though. Gear that doesn't gives a satisfying, if hypthothetical, "Clunk" and the sound of relief. Hitting the deck makes a groaning sound, sometimes accompanied by a crunching noise.

If it is seated right it won't clunk. There is a thread on UKClimbing on how to place gear at the moment if you need some tips

I don't think that's the solution. I think he should be pointed to the weightwatchers home page. :D

  • When you are constipated and that first turd eventually hits the pan, is that a clunk?

It's a full on clunk, feels like my spin shortens by an inch. Usually when I do a weird twist stretch with my hips so maybe it's just reverberating around my skeleton making it sound more like a clunk...

'chunk'. Well, that;s the rough sound. It's the sound of your car door closing when you have replaced the door rubbers.
