i have seized control, counter revolutionary forces have been suppressed, the usual suspects rounded up, all farageistes bojoistes, goveistes, dacreistes, their running dog figureheads, and all other reactionary elements taken to the tower via traitors' gate to await sentence for their crimes against the people, aristocracy is stripped of all title and property, as are all offshore entities and opaque trusts, leasehold converted to freehold, free cake for roadies, glorious summer shall return, and there will be peace and happiness, or else
after this productive, most wondrous, excellent, and joyous start to the day, let us say, 'huzzah!'
i shall now relocate the seat of power to the cafe for espressos and toast, or, perhaps, a lovely pain au chocolat, and read about it all in the paper

Typical. Had a bricklayer actually turn up on time, and powered through the work till rain stopped play. First shower of rain in a month. Anyway, back tomorrow to finish the job.

Morning, head firmly whacked back onto the grindstone this morning. IT failures abound including password issues where you cant change your own password which is fun when I cant remember it.
Office dog was very non plussed at my return, I feel betrayed/hurt.
Coffee machine has died a quiet death with a simple note stating "Broken"
Many new faces in the office all giving me confused an scared looks like they were brought here against their will.
Lastly some kind soul has visited my car last night and whacked the mirror so now it flaps around like a fish out of water and the folding motor constantly runs when you drive but doesn't actually do anything. Huzzah for Monday bring me cake!0 -

Cue images of alternative Aussie porn flick.
Going to have to dodge the showers and cut grass regardless.
Last night's power cut caused mayhem (between the sheets).

Morning,
Both the other guys in this office are on holiday this week so I'm listening to metal quite loudly and not doing any work. I'm off doing the NC500 for two weeks from Monday, it's completely acceptable to give up working now right? I've had a tough weekend shouting at the GF when she said "I don't like getting my hands dirty" (giggidy) whilst we were stealing fire wood, need to relax before 2 weeks of shouting at her for being sh1t at riding bikes.
In other news, I stumbled onto another forum for a different hobby the other day, it was going well, I bought some cool second hand stuff, people seemed ok, but then this morning there was a massive argument about how all homosexuality was degenerate filth. I politely explained that I'd rather everyone who disagreed with me was all dead and left, won't be going back in a hurry. Back in the safety of BR *shudders*0 -

Monday is never great but made better by a decent pedal this morning despite a bit of a muscle strain, soon rectified by Nurofen and coffee. Starting to see the holiday looming on the horizon as well."I spent most of my money on birds, booze and fast cars: the rest of it I just squandered." [George Best]0 -

She's not.
I did apologise for shouting at her, and I apologised for not appropriately congratulating her for getting a 2nd women's overall on a strava climb on Saturday. And I apologised for forcing her to come on a 2 week cycling holiday that she said yes to when drunk and never really wanted to do. I think I also apologise for the dog hurting his foot, not putting the bins out, not doing the washing up, not buying her flowers recently (ever), not taking her out for a meal and her boss being a pain but no, she still won't sleep with me.0 -
