Hi

I have noticed that my rear tyre has tubless fluid leaking through the side walls - both sides. Its not the rim contact, the physical side wall where tyre decals etc are found. My rear tyre did burp and run flat for approx 10 meters before i noticed and re-inflated. I then refilled with stans and checked correct pressure.
Since then i have diagonal lines in side walls, where trye creased when flat and patches of fluid seeping through.

Is the tyre knackerd? or will filling it up with stans and leaving that to infiltrate sidewalls keep tyre good.

it is a wtb trail boss 2.4 with about 200miles on it.

cheers

It might, worth a try. The diagonal lines are the plies in the carcass showing through the rubber.

My tyres have always leaked slightly from the sidewalls, get wet patches on them, never been an issue, Specialized Purgatory tyres, think some light weight tyres will do this
