Vented Disc Brake Pads

Thinking of getting some as I'm due a new set of pads anyway and notice that my Formula R1's definitely perform less well when they get warm on long descents.
Had a quick read of the reviews on SSC about their vented pads and they don't come out very well. Just wondering if any of you folk have used them or can recommend any others from different manufactures?

that's a copy of shimano icetech pads - wouldn't bother with them0
