That's just the face of a man who's been out on an all night bender and needs to get to sleep.

I can't think of any sportsperson whose form crashed so spectacularly and quickly. In a predominantly skill based sport form can come and go but to go from utter dominance to hacking around hoping to make the cut and failing is another thing.

Same as the 2009 vintage. Apparently.
The above may be fact, or fiction, I may be serious, I may be jesting.
I am not sure. You have no chance.

Some have hypothesis as to why that downfall occurred.

And the hypothesis is, pray tell.

We know his brother was a doper, thought Andy was semi-clean.

    Mainly around weight loss IIRC.

The drugs he took were less around blood boosting, since in that period you could get bust for that (and plenty did), but instead were fat strippers that take off the fat and keep the lean muscle.

Lots of rumours floating around 2009-2011 about how skinny the brothers were turning up to races. 1.82cm and 65kilos, sometimes lower, is chuffing low.

Bloody hell - he's skeletal. Worse than Rasmussen I reckon.

Thank you - never knew that.

Ian Baker Finch. Obviously not in the same league as Woods but went from winning a major to a complete collapse of his game almost overnight. Most of his problems (like Tiger) were in his own head and although Woods has suffered physical problems with his back and knee, it's hard to see his spectacular fall is anything other than his own fault. So, so sad to see him almost a shambling wreck during his DUI. It's hard to see him ever recovering his game to the point where he'll compete for a major again but I hope he can find some kind of peace in his life and a role in the game of golf.

When Nick Faldo beat Greg Norman in 96 Augusta. Norman was never quite the same again, such a crushing turn around.

Is it just me or does anyone think the American Police's public release of the videos of Tiger's arrest somewhat distasteful and out of order?

Mind you it was pretty tasteless that he cheated on his wife with multiple mistresses. He earned hundreds of millions as a result of media sponsorship, act an arseh0le they can take it away too. Especially as Golf is a clean image sport.

""That American cyclist"" came to my mind. Too good to be true 1999 - 2005 (before stripped of titles). Then in 2010 he came 23rd in the TdF and then retired.

Did he try it clean then and realise he couldn't do it?

    Same with Marco Pantani.
