Old, nice bike. What to do?

Hi all, I have a frame not currently built up, but it's nice (R531 Major Nichols from about 1960, with curly filed out lugs, blah blah blah). It was my first road bike, well second hand by the time it came to me. It's in good shape, but can't decide whether to ride the hell out of it until it dies, or hang it on the wall. Can't sell it. Seems rather sentimental, non? Bikes are for riding.

    I sold an old peugeot for almost as much as it cost me. I don't really see the attraction myself but whatever floats your boat.

    When you struggle to get your bike out of the garage due to the number of bikes in there, it may be time to think of getting rid of a couple.

    I've pruned my collection down to the bare bones now. Just the five bikes. I think that's reasonable.

    I have 9 in the garage, a couple of projects in the loft, quite a few more frames.

    Bike for every occasion: s/s, winter bike, good bike, slicked MTB for cruising, knobbly MTB for instruction, cx bike, retro, etc etc.

    Boxes of components that I constantly trip over.

    Never throw anything away - it always comes in handy.
