Hello

So I was doing OK I managed to undo the cable but when I got to the front brake leaver on my GIANT Defy, I needed to remove a little screw. Sadly it had been done up so tight it was very difficult to take out and I ended up threading i :(

It's very annoying I have no idea why the previous mechanic done it up so tight. The screw on the other break seems to undo with little resistance.

Is it easy to drill out a screw? or should I get my bike shop to do it?

Cheers
Paul

I think that the fact you have to ask this question leads me to think you do not have the expertise required. I do not recommend going to your LBS often but in this case I think it is the best option. However in my very limited experience they might tell you you need a new shifter. If so come back to us and together we can either fix it or fvck it!
