Needed an excuse for another bike, so a Gravel bike to ride the local droves and potholes sounded like a good excuse.
Fast forward to a Rutland Cycles sale, and here she is.

Very nice. Personally I d go for 5800 series chainset as well and some Hunt 4 Season gravel.

Wanted 36/46, which I don't think is available??

I like the Datum, but I still can't understand why Genesis bikes always come up so heavy, even when fairly high specced. Never managed to get my Croix de Fer below 11 kg and my Fugio below 10 kg.

Get the slimline lockring for front forks - the standard ones will rub/gouge the inside of the fork.

Precisely what I've done - also Schwalbe g-Ones (40s are tight 35s might be better) I've also change the chainset and put a 10x135 DT Swiss thru axle (CRC bolt/Hunt axle). Pleased all round (except stock wheels).

Running tubeless (stock wheel/tyre a bear [too loose], Hunts are fine and much much lighter).
