    Morning folks,
Very glad it's Fryday. Had to drive in as I've got to go and pick the female child up from another doctor's appointment. But this means it POEETS as I'll be gone before 3. Then going to meet the Mrs in a pub later.
Just got to get through the day without murderising anyone to death. Only had a couple of idiots to fend off so far so not doing badly. Haven't even needed any chemical assistance yet.

    Morning,

Friday has come around quick (as I had Monday/Tuesday off), friends coming over tomorrow then riding bikes at Hamsterley on Sunday with a mate. Not been there before but it has a pretty good reputation. May have some beers at some point...

Ooooh - just found out that today's work involves riding around on my bi-cycle.

    Now that's nice.

Oooooohhhh - just found out that work on Monday also involves riding my bicycle.

Which, coupled with work on Wednesday also involving me to ride my bicycle makes foe quite a nice week ahead.

Oooooo, if I push away from my desk really hard my chair will wheel along for about three feet before it hits the wall, does that count as riding to and from my desk?

Mashed out the first 10km run in a looooonnng time last night, turned up at da cluuuub expecting 6km or so and got treated to that.

Anybody want to tell me if they're showing highlights of Fleche Wallone today? Still haven't seen it, although Pinno has given me the gist of it.

Might be a (head)teacher but have been at w*rk for since weds.

Bit disappointed that my "tapering / carbo-loading" for the 10k on Sunday in Southampton has been a bit too effective (gained 3 kg) meaning more of me to shift. Bugger.

Still pub tonight with Mrs V while kids play PS4 sounds like a plan.

As much as it may smart if any of those babies ran over you, that T28 thing is a mother.

I really, really don't want that thing chasing after me.

I'll give you my login if you haven't got Eurosport. I won't charge you much.

Me eye appt. today me. Specialist bloke said to come back next week. That's after putting anaesthetic in the eye and dye and god knows what else as well as shining bright lights at it. Meh.
    Indoor cycling for the foreseeable.

I need a new training regime, after last weekend's effort in the Lakes.

Weirdly looking forward to running round the woods with the pooch once 5 o'clock comes around. I could go and do some hill reps but it's more hassle and I often find running knackers me out more in a short space of time (time constraints due to beer addiction)

I forgot how shit the A1 is on a Friday - total journey time 6hrs 15mins. Had to crank up the stereo to help pass the time.

Back home now for a normal weekend and no long journeys till Tuesday. TF.
