garmin edge HR data field

Specificly. Edge 1000. I just descovered a data field called HR zones. I would expect that 2.1 means 2 and a bit, but yesterday I was getting numbers like 6.8. So perhaps it means something else?

    I think it uses 7 heart rate zones.

    You can change the zones to be what you want. Or you can on my 810. I had mine set up to match Strava (5 zones, although 1 and 5 are pretty irrelevant) but I don't really use it any more.
