Skipping shifter

When shifting up, the derailleur moves the chain from 1-4th cog, also from 2nd to 5th, in one jump. Fine from 4th upwards, goes one st a time. When changing down it's also fine, just 1 cog at a time.

I've cleaned and degreased. Plus new cable, but still misbehaving...

Any ideas? Thanks!!

    Sounds like the ratchet within the shifter is worn.......
    FFS! Harden up and grow a pair :D
