Roof Carriers Query

Sorry if this is in wrong area, couldn't think of where to put it!
I've just got a set of roof bars for my 3 door fiesta and only after getting everything fitted, did I realise that both feet connect on the door... now this means that I only have 450mm gap between each bar and makes me wonder if that's going to be enough for my Thule 591 carriers?
Does anyone have any experience mounting roof carriers like this?
TIA for your help.

They do look pretty close together...
Yeah, that's how they suggest to mount them.
I'm talking with the seller at the moment in regards to a possible refund, but it's a bit more difficult with them having been fitted.
It would certainly sort the concern about the bike racks out.

I've been reading up on those and it seems they won't work with the Farad roof bars.
Might be worth cutting my losses and getting another rack?
Thanks for the help!
I suppose the issue is that the Thule carrier may have a spec for the minimum gap between the two bars, so as you've got two manufacturers in there there is a risk that a failure would not be considered to be either party's fault.
The 591 doesn't seem to specify a minimum gap but this doc https://cdn1.static-tgdp.com/assetloade ... t=GB&att=1 suggests 700mm between the bars as a minimum.

I noticed the recommended by Thule was 700mm
I don't think three would be any cause for concern on the short journeys that I do (around 10 miles at the most), but going forward when I start heading onto Motorways, etc. it would be worth having some decent gap spec.
*Goes to browse for a new rack*
