Hi,
Wasn't sure what area to put this.
I'm looking at wall mounting a MTB, not sure of the weight. Has anybody used a good wall mounting system?

Was looking at the Clug system, I have bought some for our road bikes, but I don't think they can be used on Drywall for a MTB.

Thanks

  • I used a bracket with quite wide spanning supports and used plasterboard fixings , it' hasn't fell down yet . Them "fix it" fixings are pretty heavy duty for dry wall .

The best drywall fixings you can get are 'grip it' drywall fixings, relatively new. They support upwards of 100kg. Plus depending which size you choose. Drill correct sized hole in drywall pop the circular fixing into the hole then turn the screw and two wings rotate outwards securing it against the back of the board. Dont confuse these with spring toggles as are completely different.

That's what I meant sorry  "grip it" not "fix it"
