  • Had this issue myself alot ! Haha........i found the inly way to stop it for any length of time, is to replace the pads and remove the discs give them a GOOD clean, i work in a garage and used the wire wheel on the bench grinder to clean them and then left them to soak in bowl full of coke over night. So far ive done one session on the trails and done about 10-15 km going to work and back squeel free ! Discs arent all that expensive though tbf. Only cleaning the pads or replacing the pads means they will just absorb all the crud off the discs again straight away and you will be back to square one. Hope this helps.

you don't need to rough up the disc a good clean with isopropyl alcohol usually is good enough.

A good clean with IPA and a set of new pads should do the trick.

Off hand were the current pads bedded in correctly as this can cause noisy brakes.

Depends. Some pads squeal more than others. (Sintered normally).

    Sometimes brakes just squeal.

Sometimes they are contaminated. Don't spray random sh1t on the bike.
