I'm sorry you don't believe in miracles
  • Yay, its Monday

Only a three day week ahead for me. Some s**t to deal with this morning no doubt (bloody engineers) but the sun is shining and that makes me happy.

    Morning folks,
The sun is shining after a rainy day yesterday, typical. The emails that came in over the weekend are now done, but unfortunately the phone calls with silly questions have already begun. Would I go and look at some other push rods and tell him which ones had the most rounded ends? No.
A little tired after a busy weekend, great night last night at Wimbledon Stadium. It was like being back in the 70's. nothing had changed there since then I reckon. Stench of burning oil and rubber filled the air by the end of the evening. Nowhere to park when I got in last night so wound up driving in as I had to move the car.
Second cup of tea has been delivered, things are looking up.

    Morning,

cracking start to the morning sparrowhawk clattered the windows catching a blackbird an was merrily redecorating a flowerbed with its feathers an carcass.

Come to work an I get to enjoy this level of stupid today

Morning, slight wine fuzz today as sunday dinner was at ours.

A ride is on the cards tonight followed by an early night.

    Heals people by itself.

Parts to repair steth are only £12, but annoying as I have to order them and I need it now. Will dig out spare.

But $630 for those brakes? Blimey, hope they're good.

They let you loose with a Stethoscope and we pay for it?!

Nope SG - though I would have hoped in that event, they could magic up some real hips and boosted the immune system for me and I would request a shag with an alien - just for experimental/inter galactical reasons

You would, if you'd forked out $630 for them! I'd be braking going up hill, just to get my money's worth.

This is my good steth that my best mate bought for me when I was working civ div ambulance - actually a tad gutted. I'll get it sorted and all will be well.

I'll just delve into the big bag of junk you lot have paid for and get a spare that you lot have paid for.

Hmmmm - examining TDSD with a steth, be it broken or not.......

As is my want to raise the general level of this forum I would like to point out the etymology of the word stethoscope...

...from Greek stēthos ‘breast’ + skopein ‘look at’.

it's vulgar to discuss money, i'd only spend it on wine or pineapple anyway

they are remarkably good brakes, only downside is they're black not silver and therefore lose points on shininess

do they make stereo stethoscopes? i.e.two ends so you can better pinpoint inner gurglings
