You were lucky it was just a card!
The "SeanoGram" on the doorstep is something I'll never be able to erase.
The older I get, the better I was.0 -
Got a card, had a few cups of tea, had a full scale and polish at the dentist.
Apparently I have to go to Ikea this evening to collect a wardrobe and a bed for the daughter as it won't fit in her car. Yesterday evening I moved two settees, I should start charging!Advocate of disc brakes.0 -
No card for me yet, I'm sure the GF will be out at lunchtime to get me one as I surprised her with flowers/card this morning. We did say we weren't going to do anything after such a hectic weekend moving house (all went through in the nick of time and the house is amazing by the way) but I was passing Tesco yesterday and took the opportunity to earn brownie points...0

Card and socks. Whhoo - frickin - whee. TDV got the dutiful flowers so at least I'm in her good books for once.
Emergency trip (well, casual stroll) to the vet with The Hound so off to do some weights, have traditional Tuesday brunch steak then back to the vets for 11:30.

Womble looks a bit distressed and we can't see Saville's other hand...
Work just got a load of cakes and treats in to show how much they love us. Not bad at all. Off to meet the Mrs for lunch a bit later, certainly beats walking to Sainsbury's for a sandwich.0 -
Yep, we exchanged cards this morning; didn't do pressies this year cos we have an expensive anniversary later. In a cruel twist of fate I'll be dining out with work colleagues in Germany tonight while my wife is at home having beans on toast with the dog0

She got card, flowers and thorntons from tesco, i got card and thorntons from tesco. i see a gain for tesco shareholders and a loss for our bank account. Meal arranged for lunchtime tomorrow...0

The Hound is under the knife as we speak. That's messed up my day. At least it meant that I could tweak the Cervelo rear mech to perfection and shorten the chain a tad, now just got to work out why the stupid front mech won't do as it's told.
Uletegra 11 speed - knew it was a mistake fitting it. Wouldn't have had this problem with Force, oh no.Postby team47b » Sun Jun 28, 2015 11:53 am

Girls couldn't pronounce 'Rheged' so that called it wigwag.

No card. Now making my own dinner. Son was four yesterday, so this makes today the fourth anniversary of Oscar Pistorius' bad judgement call.
Two more days at work, then off for a week.
Ride home tonight was quite pleasant. Very little wind.0
