Reminds me a little of some of the William Turner paintings. Funny, I once went to Burry Port and my then gf amd I walked miles along the beach. A Haar rolled in at low tide. On our right was the land and on the left was the sea but we couldn't see either. It was quite surreal (Summer '95).

Indeed. Just needs a tall ship on the horizon. And I I've just learnt another word for sea fog. :)

The above may be fact, or fiction, I may be serious, I may be jesting.
I am not sure. You have no chance.

    Gratuitous cat shot :)

Picked up Sylvie from a rescue centre yesterday, 4 year old British shorthair. Poor thing had been used as a kitten factory by a breeder. Now happily running things here!

^Some cats look like their owners.

    Ah well, must chip in:

Lost a bit off the side in true Ben style. He's been adopting me as his servant over the last year or so but not quite a permanent resident.

I don't like cats. Hate me if you will, but can we have a Cat Photography Thread if this is going to get as populated by cats as my back garden is by cat sh1t?

... though I'll admit that narbs' photo is a good one.

Perhaps they don't like hearing you practising scales in perpetuum.

Great shot BTW. Where was that?

Just found this thread. Excellent stuff.

I'll share a few of mine shortly.

Can anyone recommend a camera rucksack for when out riding? I've been looking at the Mindshift Rotation180 Trail but it's pretty expensive.

What are you going to put in it, cameras, lenses etc, do you need to carry a tripod.

I use a Lowepro which has plenty of room for my gear plus a Manfrotto tripod, which is not light by any means.

I've been using Lowepro bags for over 35 years without problems so I feel safe in recommending them.
Now where's that "Get Out of Crash Free Card"

It's mainly for walking around sightseeing and short bike trips. Will generally be Eos 70c and two lenses (15-85 and 70-300)

I don't carry a tripod but may occasionally have to carry tired children so I want to keep it light.
