Route tips for a newb in Torrevieja (Spain)

Hello,
In mars this year I'll be spending a week in Torrevieja. I'll have my road bike with me. I know that a lot people ride in the Alicante region.
But if you are super newb on the geografi there and don't have a clue where to ride. Is there any "super" routes that you shouldn't miss or perhaps is there guided routs that you can pay to hang along?

Head up to Orihuela and you will see a massive ridge of rock behind it, keep cycling until you get to it and then learn to breathe out of your arse while you cycle.
