Dressage isn't an action sport. It's just confusing and nobody knows the rules.
Like cycling, all competitors seem to be on drugs, as are the horses. I believe hallucinogens are most popular.
My daughter did some dressage competitions this year. After taking her to dozens of lessons, team training sessions and competitions I haven't got a clue what it's all about. No idea what's going on.
They go in to a square bit of field in front of a couple judges who watch from inside their car. They ride around a bit at various speeds in random directions and then ride out again. Then we wait several hours while they decide which of the teams has most riders related to a judge, which seems to be the winning criteria.Transition Patrol - viewtopic.php?f=10017&t=130702350 -
