Well i know to a few of you this 1988 Muddy Fox Courier is just old tat but i'd waited 28 years to get this as i couldn't afford one bitd but anyway i just thought i'd share my pride n joy with those that are interested and even though it's no longer cutting edge it still rides amazingly well and a big grin on my face when i ride it 8) ..

Well here's my 1988 Muddy Fox Courier which i acquired in June which is original accept for the BB which is now a Shimano cartridge UN55, front and seat QR's which were too rusty to save, middle ring which is a Shimano Biopace, freewheel and chain due to being worn.

You'll have noticed it's now got some nice 2.1" Splash back tyre's fitted which suit the bike better :) ..

Proper blast from the past, there is a white one with yellow stickers on going around Scarborough, sometimes see a guy riding it when i go to see my mother, and it's pretty much immaculate as well

Liking the U brake mounted on the chain stay,I had a Marin with the same, certainly no good on a muddy day

I guess, you have to have owned one to appreciate it .... It just doesn't look fun to me at all, it looks old, heavy, twitchy, unstable, overly tall and not at all confidence inspiring.

Yet ..... I love my 1997 Kein with AMP f3 forks and I would love an old Raleigh Equip that I used to have as a kid !
