Lezyne LED lights- 2 different LEDs?

Hi all.
I just got a Lezyne Micro Drive 400XL, when I switch it on, the left led appears much brighter than the right. Is this normal- like a flood/spot thing- or do I need to send it back?

    Sounds like you're turning it on and it's in the lowest output mode, try pressing the on/off button again and see if the light gets brighter.
    I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.

    Thanks for the advice. I tried that (after a full charge) and the RHS LED is considerably dimmer than the LHS one. I reckon it must be wrong, but didn't want to return if it's meant to be like that...
