Hi

Looking to buy a set of slicks or semi slicks for a Cube 29er hardtail - any help or suggestions on a set that give a good balance between speed, weight and grip much appreciated.

Thanks

Any 700c tyre, from a 28mm road bike tyre through the 50mm hybrid tyres depending on the use you intend!
Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.
  • I use schwalbe furious Fred for the mix of Tarmac, gravel and single track that I ride.
I can ride with roadies on my setup. Low Rolling resistance and sufficient grip for gravel but sketchy in mud.
  • Thanks for the info - mostly for tarmac with the occasional forestry track
