What no spoiler for this? Easier (allegedly) and later in the year to prep riders for the World Champs in Qatar.

So far lots of crashes AFAIK...

I thought Cav was due to ride this... did he pull out?

I saw a preview suggesting he's been ill. Apparently wasn't well all through ToB, which might have explained his crabbiness on the struggle...

Fair play, that was a messy sprint. Don't think anyone called that win either.

I refer you to RidgeRider's PTP pick.

Win for Groenewegen and Lotto-Jumbo, then Bohanni, Sagan, EBH, and Kristoff

That will make doing the PTP points later tonight all the more enjoyable.

Groenewegen will win a few Tour stages.
  • I love this race, and it turns out I'm working from home 4 out of 5 days this week.

    Happy days

Crowded sprint that, surprised they all stayed upright

Bouhanni squeezed out, no-ones fault, but a bit unlucky this time.

This is basically the biggest race of the year though for you. Forget those GTs, Eneco is where it is at.

They should make an Eneco tour jersey to be worn all year round for the winner....

    Curious tweet from Tony Martin.

Not the best result today in #EnecoTour tt but I feld good with my new old position from last year photo @TDWsport

Has he reverted to his old TT position? (which therefore means he's been in a different position and isn't happy with it?)
  • Why were so many riders late to the start gate? Not just Kirienka but there were a few others too
  • Fell asleep watching yesterday.
So, today is flat, sprinter's stage, then there's another. After that we have a 21km TTT.
Dennis should have a pretty significant lead by the time the race enters the not very hilly, hilly stages.

Matt Hayman was a DNS due to illness, there was a suggestion on Twitter, from @procyclingstats, that everyone's start time was brought forward, which I think may have caught a few riders out.
