edited September 2016 in The bottom bracket
in-line answer format: song title / band (or singer whatever), example...
22 there's got to be a reason and we know the reason why
word up / cameo

if it's a cover version, you need to choose the band that did the best version

best out of 21 wins, i will attempt to keep track with periodic reviews

bonus point for each correct answer asserted to have been determined without using a search engine, no fibbing now

1 it's all a figment of my mind, In a world that i've designed
2 the bats have left the bell tower, the victims have been bled, red velvet lines the black box
3 on the other side, of a jet black hotel mirror
4 all the power's in the hands, of people rich enough to buy it
5 take a black cat and sit it on your shoulder and in the morning you'll know all you know
6 now there is no more morning dew
7 she is like a cat in the dark and then she is the darkness
8 enter the risen osiris, risen again
9 in the superunknown
10 we're a garage band, we come from garageland
11 people say beware, but i don't care
12 techno tribal and positively primal, shamanic anarchistic archaic revival
13 amazed to stumble - where gods get lost - beneath, the southern cross
14 rock 'n' roll damnation, take a chance while you still got the choice
15 it's gonna screw your head, you're gonna wind up dead
16 it's getting so hot, people dripping with sweat, the punks in the corner are speeding like a jet
17 cold forgiveness
18 all along the watchtower
19 set the controls for the heart of the sun
20 far away in time
21 in a gadda da vida

That's one of the two that I knew.

    19. Set the controls for the heart of the sun / Pink Floyd. (edited to comply with the rules :) )
    was the other one.

I know half of 20, in that it's echo Beach, but I couldn't guess who did it.

only if you follow the rules matey, i assume you meant to put...
    18 all along the watchtower
all along the watchtower / Jimmy Hendrix - i knew this without cheating and claim an extra point

as you see, the captain has followed your bad example

soon points will be deducted for such behaviour

    13. Is Patti Smith and I think the Song is 'Beneath the Southern Cross'. It was in the Song title thread. Do you actually listen to this cr4p?

Sungod's 'hair of the dog': https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S1gDUZt7-Fw

    21. : You have to give me that, dunno the song.

That's it for me, my brain hurts and the day isn't getting any shorter.

12 - The Shamen. The rest; not a clue.

Is there a Deep Purple, Creedence Clearwater Revival, America or a Jefferson Airplane in there some where?
