    I can't, I think it's Louis Vervaeke.

Just seeing Ribadesella .... did the Descenso del Sella (kayak race) which finished there a couple of times. Started in Arriondas and went down river into the estuary.... a crazy race. A beautiful area, takes me back to my youth.

Really hope Gesink can do something here. 55km to go and the break has around 4'20".

No sooner said than break loses 1min in the space of 5km. Might be a stage for a GC showdown at last, as Movistar set the pace at the front of the peloton.

I think you're right :( PTP cock up today then.

Would quite like JoDom to do something special too...

Why isn't Lady Garden in a break ever? His goal is stage wins FFS.

He's been nowhere near as good since the VW Emissions Crisis.

Presumaby he has chosen the stages to target and we haven't had any of those yet.

    Crashed according to Kirby.

Ah, I see you beat me to it yourself.

I've just seen him bouncing out of the saddle.. have also just seen the Frenchman at the back of the breakaway.

    I sense a non-event. Thanks Kirby...

Vervaeke goes long. Rest of the break sits on Gesink's wheel..

No sign of Sky at all in that front group.

Froome plus two sky dropped. Calls in to base. Seems to be a Vuelta thing with him. I expect him to get back.

Having said that the main group is still quite large. Contains the red jersey.
  • Froome's long season is finally catching up with him, it seems.

Froome around 30s behind the other GC favs now. At the front of the race, Gesink has caught up with Rolland.

Contador stetches his legs. Quintana follows.

Quintana goes and Contador is the only one to react.

Gesink has 6km to go already full race face. Froome doing his best to limit his losses.
