Aftermarket Discs

Hi All.
Any recommendations on aftermarket discs, I've used Supersatar on my trail bikes with good results, bar for one of there old Alpine discs ( think that's what they were called ) they were getting rid of which I didn't like that much.
It's for my sons Mega Pro it's running 180mm F&R he will be riding Juvenile DH next year, think a 203mm front might be a bit over kill when he's only around 5 stone.

I use uberbike floating discs without any issues but have used the ordinary superstar discs as well and they worked just fine.
I think any discs will be fine it's more about getting the pads bedded in to disc.0 -
I've not found Uberbike floating rotors to be very durable, mine are dead in under a year.
With only 5 stone on board though they should be fine. I wouldn't go bigger than a 180 rotor. Grabbing a fist full of front in a panic with a 203 rotor will most likely send him flying!Transition Patrol - viewtopic.php?f=10017&t=130702350 -

I think they are all out of stock now, but I got Formula Oro 180mm and a Formula Lightweight 160mm rotor from PX for £10 total, as part of an order over £50.================

Is that due to using metal pads? Mine are used with organic.0 -
