Ass saver vs saddle pack

Can you fit an ass saver when you've got a saddle pack (a Topeak, in my case)?

Am sick of wet back and bum in the rain
It's just a hill. Get over it.

    I manage to, I have a topeak aero wedge clip on and it fits. I'm not totally convinced ass savers make much of a difference but they must be better than nothing during a light shower.

    How many bottles do you carry ?if its only 1 then you could get a tool kit bottle and stick in in the spare bottle cage, or buy some proper gaurds which mean a new bike that is dedicated for wet weather/ winter rides :)

    yeah the Ass saver just goes right underneath the saddle.

    Its fine as a summer thing but you need proper guards in the winter.

    The ass saver will stop your shorts getting splashed in showers - but thats about it.

    I've one on the summer bike permanently. You can fold it away under the saddle and above the pack but theres often a stream across one of the roads i ride so I dont bother.

    depends on the pack fitting

    i use them, they make a big difference, if it's proper rain you still get wet, but at speed you're no longer being jet washed from behind
    my bike - faster than god's and twice as shiny
