It feels like they have upped the amount of TV coverage this year.0

The one thing I do like about the Vuelta is how brutal they make some of the stages to liven up interest.
It's a real shame Purito didn't want to ride the Vuelta as his last hoorah.Follow me on Twitter - http://twitter.com/scalesjason - All posts are strictly my personal view.0 -
Today's breakaway are:-
Gatis Smukulis (Katusha), Alexandre Geniez (FDJ), Pieter Serry (Etixx-Quick Step), Simon Pellaud (IAM Cycling), Jérôme Cousin (Cofidis), Rüdiger Selig (Bora-Argon 1Cool and David Arroyo (Caja Rural-Seguros RGA)"Science is a tool for cheaters". An anonymous French PE teacher.0 -

Froomey looked like he was dropping back a bit there.

Just been thinking the same, but can't tell.
Good result for FDJ. Froomey latched back on to the Quintana group, Contador dropped.Follow me on Twitter - http://twitter.com/scalesjason - All posts are strictly my personal view.0 -

I think he did too.
Kruiswijk lost some time too, but not his kind of climb that at all.
Great ride by Froomey. But I'm not sure it'll last... Tour, Rio and Vuelta, that's a heavy period.Follow me on Twitter - http://twitter.com/scalesjason - All posts are strictly my personal view.0 -

It's not although he has never been good at sprinting up short steep hills.0 -
