Says it all. Regardles of his wins, Cav will never be the fans favourite because he's just an inarticulate, unintelligible and egotistical bloke from the Isle of Man.

    As above, and what he said about Brad cracked me up when I was watching. Are we supposed to not like athletes if they don't get on with everybody in the world or something?

    and what he said about Brad isn't nescersarily about Brad - it could be he meant it about the media preferring Brad interviews ..
    As for the crash - you can see from his body language that he didn't intentionally do that and made sure he appologised to at least Viviani ..

    Look at the way Cav has visibily behaved during the olympics - he's a Lad, staying with the other Lads - perhaps behaving Laddish is the way he deals with stress.

    He's just a bloke who wants to race to win and be loved.

    Damn right - unless our sports stars speak the Queen's english, are well educated preferably at an establishment with a proper pedigree and hail from the home counties then they have no right to even compete in our blessed lands name.

    I am off to watch someone with a double barrelled name make a horse worth more than my house dance around an arena.

    Man who took huge amount of drugs sees something else as worse than taking lots of drugs.

    In other news ISIS think bacon sandwiches are worse than mass executions.

    AA: You said 'Inarticulate'. Let's see if that's right and if so how many people said it.
    <Board turns red>
    AA: Oh dear, a wrong answer. Richard....
    RO: No, not right. I'm afraid he's actually quite articulate.
    AA: With your other answer, 'unintelligable', you join the 200 club. Never mind, but you'll come back tomorrow.

    BTW, your troll attempt was woeful.

    Yeah and he's forever thanking other people, "blah, blah, backroom boys, nutritionists, analysts, team mates blah blah all deserve a spot on the podium" that really gets my goat :mrgreen:

    I'm assuming the "e" in we was actually a typo, he meant to write "ankers".

  • Dear Optrexthingy, what does Cav coming from the Isle of Man have to do with anything? Why did you feel the need to highlight that as part of your little diatribe?
