How to buy the perfect saddle

How can i buy the perfect saddle, normal bike saddles seem to pain me very much.

what are the best saddles for overweight riders?

    Go to a bike shop that can measure you and recommend the right saddle for your shape, or experiment.

    There are no best saddles.

    But avoid massive padded things in the belief they'll be comfortable. They won't after the first few miles. A decent saddle needs to be firm enough to support your sit bones.

    Some shops have demonstrator saddles which you can borrow for a week. That's how I chose mine.
