Searching for some OTR frames in Reynolds 953/931 led me to Gosforth. I believe they source the frames from Ora Engineering, the same people who produce for Genesis, Rikelau etc.

A pleasure to deal with, so I thought it would be good to try and raise their profile a little.

That's a seriously good looking ride. I was also going to compliment you on the quality of the photo until I followed the link to find that it was from the Gosfirth website.

Apart from the front wheel being the wrong way around, one of the best looking bikes on here.

Really nice. Considering they are a local company to me I've never heard of Gosforth before.

I think they've been operating a little under the radar - when I was deciding on what frame to get, I couldn't find any information available online, other than what's on their website/blog. Hopefully this spurs a bit more discussion around their frames, steel frames produced in Taiwan etc.

I've not had the chance to take the bike for much of a ride yet, other than a 20 mile pootle to the shops around North London - hoping to take it for a good ride around Surrey this weekend.

Added a few more pictures. I must also give a notable mention to Bespoke Cycling on Jermyn Street who were very helpful on two occasions:

I couldn't source an Enve 2.0 fork in the size I needed (1.125" straight streerer, 45mm rake), apparently because the UK distributor was having stock issues. I contacted Bespoke, who very kindly ordered one through Parlee from the US for me.

They also pressed the headset cups, cut the steerer tube, tapped and faced the BB and fit the BB cups for a nominal charge. Excellent service.

Funnily enough I like everything except the stem, but hey ho. What an excellent bike and just shows how light you can get a steel build these days. Well done, love it!
