Omega Alchemy Rebirth

After 5 years of faithful service my Cannondale SuperSix EVO bit the dust in a particularly nasty crash (along with bits of my ankle). May the bike and the bits of my ankle rest in peace on that dark, damp, and generally unpleasant Canadian B road.

In need of a new bike, but not a significantly lighter wallet, my Dad very kindly gave me his old Omega Alchemy that he no longer likes to ride. Originally made for my Dad in 2004 it's now worked its way to me. The custom geometry Omega (now Enigma) worked out should fit me well. It's basically a frame for an orangutan. Combined with some practically new 10 speed Campagnolo Record and the finishing kit from my crashed Cannondale its come out better than expected. In my opinion it looks the business . . . hopefully it rides as well as it looks.
