Now that's debatable. I think the majority of the pain will be blocked by the good times but the mental pain will still be there until the 3? 4? Week Christmas hols ......

You're lucky. We are at the end of week 2. it's been hell and there's still 5 weeks to go.

Ah hell ma boy, that's harsh already. Must admit that there will be some moments of sheer comedy joy but generally I feel it's going to be kinda painful.......

    Teachers get paid to teach.

I don't get paid to look after my kids. If I did I wouldn't moan about it and get threaders - I'd just knuckle down and complete the task.

To be honest, only a small proportion of the job is actually teaching kids stuff....

Absolutely right, you don't get paid to look after your kids. If you were paid, would it make it any easier? You do it for love, and to share memories that will last a lifetime. :)

I assume your other half didn't force you at gunpoint to impregnate her? Just man up and crack on.

Is it an Italian tradition to get 7 weeks summer holiday and expect sympathy when the rugrats inevitably kick up?

The novelty of "Look; Daddy's home" has obviously quickly worn off.

Well, nothing amazing for the memory banks so far but bambino has just vomited all over the car so I suppose that's something.

It's generally that followed by the immediate handing over of a list of chores ..... Oh well, beds, making, lying in them.....

Today my dog vomited on bambina and I lost my wallet with every form of id and credit/debit card in it that I have.

Rule 5 can go and jog on.

No, Chris Froome can jog on. I'm afraid you'll just have to HTFU for the next 20 years or so... :)
