Hi,

I am new to MTB and looking for a decent bike to start with. I do live in Munich, Germany and would like to test the bike in the shop before buying therefore no Canyon or other direct sales. After some search I've these two at nice prices:

GT Zaskar 27.5 Elite
Frame GT Speed Metal Ultra Alloy Triple Triangle HardTail
Fork RockShox Recon Gold TK 27.5 Solo Air 100mm Remote LockOut
Crankset Shimano SLX 2x10 (38/24)
Shifters Shimano SLX
Cassette Shimano 10s (11-36)
Front Derailleur Shimano Deore
Rear Derailleur Shimano Deore XT Shadow Plus
Brakes Shimano Deore Disc
Wheels All Terra Centerlock Disc Hubs & WTB ST i19 Rims
Handlebar Kore XCD-R1
Stem Kore XCD1
Seatpost Kore Torsion
Saddle Fizik Tundra
11.86kg according to http://www.mbr.co.uk/reviews/hardtail/g ... ite-review

As far as I understand the difference is in forks, rims and geometry. Zaskar costs 899 EUR and Centurion 999 EUR. Is Fox Float 32 Evolution 100 EUR better than RockShox Recon Gold TK?
And generally are these decent bikes for the price?
