Apart from weight, are these cassettes any good viz. shifting and durability.

I've just fitted the lighter MX3, no mileage yet, not sure if anyone has done that many miles on one yet.
Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.
  • Never used this make before so unaware there was a newer model so I guess my question is "Sunrace MX3, any good?"
Just that I've seen the odd comment, I think on Amazon, that they wear quickly.

Don't Marin fit them to their bikes as a stock part? Can't be that bad
  • I've been running the mx3 for about 6 months. I find it shifts perfect and runs great. Just one small issue I've not bothered to fix. On the 42 tooth if I pedal back it jumps down a cog. It's never happened on a trail. Just at the bottom when I'm waiting around. I put it on with a new chain ring and chain. No signs of any wear yet.
I've also just bought the ms3 today to go 1X on my back up hard tail. I went for the ms3 just to save a few quid.
