I believe the Muur van Geraardsbergen will be included in the 2017 Ronde.
It will also start in Antwerpen.

Might have to return for the cyclo...

A rare post from me to offer a slight 'whoop' on this news.
Not sure about the start though, and I'm still not interested in finishing circuits in anything describing itself as a 'tour'.0 -
Meh... the Muur is overrated... glad they kept the finishing circuit - great for spectators.0

I'd assumed Muur van Geraardsbergen was a female cyclist returning after a lengthy lay off. I've fallen in now. Thought I'd share my ignorance.Pinno, מלך אידיוט וחרא מכונאי0

But they aren't putting it anywhere near relevance to a race winning move... so you'll get the whole bunch going tempo up an easy climb. Woop-di-doo...
Surprised none of your traditionalists are complaining about the move away from Brugge... won't be the same Flanders without those shots of the start in the Brugge market square blah blah blah...0 -
true, but the Grote Markt in Antwerp is pretty cool too...

Unless you're a spectator.0 -

Roadside spectating at Oude Kwaremont was great with the finishing circuit. I'm glad they've kept the circuit.

But more importantly will the cyclo still be based in Oundeaarde ?0

Agreed. I've only made it there the once since they introduced it, but it's great from a roadside perspective0 -

Great - it's back in. The race has been poorer without it
WTF - putting it 100km from the finish thus ensuring there's no selection on itNapoleon, don't be jealous that I've been chatting online with babes all day. Besides, we both know that I'm training to be a cage fighter.0 -
Are all you misty eyed lot also wanting our country back? The Muur was only selective during the EPO era, before and prior to that the Bosberg played an equally important role.
I prefer the new course, it makes for a more tactically interesting race. There, I said it.0 -
Not going to make any difference to the racing with 100km still to go0
