just had a quick walk, noticed there's a hilux outside, parked pirate style about a pace away from the pavement

no gun on the back though, maybe they're having a holiday

off to the airport soon, but from what i'm hearing about the uk weather i'm not sure that's a good idea

    Cracking the flags here :)

Car loaded up to the roof for a tip run, might as well make the most of having the estate for a few more days

Then load in a couple of bikes as we are going to watch the cycling in town and you can do laps before the start of the racing

Then it's beer time with a meal out somewhere later

Iffy weather forecast, but went riding anyway. Discovered the combo of my unfit fat self and a single speed MTB on knobby tyres at 40 psi is no match for Auckland's (road) hills. By halfway up the third I was wondering if I should have put the paramedics number on speed dial...

Beat the rain home by a whole 30 seconds though. Result!

Afternoon was recovery based. Pub dinner.

Will try for a lazy day today although wifey may try to scupper that. Might put the Bruiser up for sale as its not getting used now I have the Panzer.

unusually swift check-in, shiny bike in it's box trundled off to the oversize belt

now in the little lounge at arrecife airport, no cava, grrr, the old one had it, but the snacks are ok

already missing my sunbed, i think the first discussion in the office next week is going to be about how i'm taking another holiday

Was it anything like this one? Anyone any good at just copying pictures and pasting them in instead of having the whole link in?

Hopefully Chris Evans will be the first target they use.

Toyota must make a fortune from 3rd world civil wars. I wonder if they built a Hilux dealership in the Caliphate ?
