    Flattest ever stage, anywhere?

Break to get almost 10 mins, then the sprinters to wake up, and the city centre carnage.....

Nothing stage, nothing breakaway and a nothing pace being set.
    Well done, RCS.
Just what we want after 11 days of already very hill light, racing.

Have you watched a GT before Saddles?

Sounds like the kind of stage in the Tour that Paul would start reading from the tourist guide book.

Wish I was watching - I could drift off listening to Kelly's soothing tones. "General Classement"

He's already said there will be a problem today in the peloton with riders getting bored.

I'm watching the mountain stage of the Tour of Norway at the same time.

They are knocking off hilly kms as fast as the flat Giro boys.

On the plus side, tomorrow is a bit lumpier so it might result in more attacking.

Final lap neutralised for GC, maybe, nearly posted earlier what are the odds on that happening when someone said it was raining.

What's Hatch's issue with the presentation of the sponsors jersey's by the podium girls on the finish straight? 'Trip back in time ...' nonsense every day ... The sponsors have paid to have their name on a jersey so why not present it to the public as best they can? Chanel are unlikely to replace Natalie Portman with his grandad in their perfume ads are they.

    Greipel going home, today.
    I'd guess Caleb Ewan, too.
Demare will probably be OTL if he's suffering and stays.

I've missed this but assuming he's made some comments along the lines of "podium girls" being an anachronism then presumably he thinks that that is not the "best way" to present the sponsor's brand.

Let's face it, I enjoy admiring good looking women as much as any man but having the 'podium girls' wearing very tight fitting versions of the leaders' jerseys and high heels is the sort of thing that saw its day 30 odd years ago in most areas but is still alive and well in some sports (motor racing, boxing and MMA are worse!) and the type of expo that appeals to geeks who have never seen a real woman.
