Hi all,
I'm in the market for a pair of kneepads - i've never owned any before - and i'd appreciate some advice if possible!
Most of my riding is done in local woods which are pretty rooty with the odd flint but I don't think that I'd call them heavy duty. I am, however, going to be doing bike park wales / local trail centres more often this year.

I quite like the modular idea for 7idp but the raceface pads look much more comfortable (if they aren't comfortable I won't wear them very often..)
Any help appreciated! Other product suggestions welcome too.

I have the Dainese Trail skins in a M and they are great. Literally can't feel them unless I want to. Also, besides my knees having survived a simple drop test onto the floor, they have been saved several times by the pads (including some situations that must have hurt quite a bit-still no pain)-Cube Acid 29" 2013

Thanks for the input, it sounds like I will be spoilt for choice whether I get the Dainese or the IXS pads that a previous poster's article recommended. Will come down to which fits better I reckon
I'm still kinda intruiged by the modular approach of the 7IDP ones, though, but the time that I would use the heavy duty addons are so rare I am not sure they're going to be required.0
