Le Tour de Romandie 2016 **SPOILERS**
Tour de Romandie
26 April to 01 May 2016
Prologue
3.95 km ITT
Mark McNally is the first rider out of the gate at 1450 local
City Centre Crit anyone? It is 4 km and has at least 10 sharp turns
Its got a big lump in the middle. OK so it is not a Col - but it is a kilometre at 5-6% which will change the nature of the course.
Anyone know where it is being shown???

From the Bike channel website it's live at 3pm and highlights at 7pm, although the live part isn't listed in the Sky schedule.

Is it going ahead? There's been heavy snow
Latest weather is 6.5C with light rain
Roads look clear http://lachauxdefonds.roundshot.com/ but it doesn't look pleasant for a twisty-turny hi-speed prologue0 -

Thanks - no access to Bike Channel whilst at work - unless someone has any bright ideas. Maybe end up watching it in Dutch0 -

Contrary to Joel's, "Boost their shares" claim, they don't have every live race coverage.
Far from it.

What?? I've had yawns that have gone on longer than this prologue0 -

Drying out a bit now, although the ramp has caused a few problems.
This weather is set to hang around for the first two road stages.

Mixture of road bikes and time-trial bikes. That wet road hairpin at bottom of hill looks nasty with tt bike0

Pinot looks like he's pushing a Carrefour shopping trolley
Effective, mind. Decent time0 -

Ion Izaguirre - anyone go for him in PTP?0

I went for a Movistar rider, just the wrong one.0

At least you didn't go for the wrong Izaguirre - that would have really stung!

Yes, it was snowing when the last 10 went off. The best times were set in the dry.0

Given the TT kms in the Tour I'd be amazed if he hadn't been riding his TT bike hard all winter.Team My Man 2018: David gaudu, Pierre Latour, Romain Bardet, Thibaut pinot, Alexandre Geniez, Florian Senechal, Warren Barguil, Benoit Cosnefroy0 -

Ah, cheers for that
And Albasini came off on a sharp corner directly before Froome was due to do it, he was obviously radioed, and tbh he took the corner so gingerly he probably lost about 10 seconds there.
Imagine a bathroom sink on top of a unicycle going round a corner...0
