I have just bought a new hybrid bike which unlike my road bikes will spend time alone outside.
To keep it warm I am considering getting the Title's blanket.

Will this be a sound decision or are there better ones?

the lock is ok, any lock can be broken given the time/opportunity

a new bike outside may also get raided for wheels/components, you can add a chain/cable through wheels and maybe saddle rails to fend off casual thieving scum, but bear in mind cables can be cut quite easily so never rely on one for the bike itself

Thanks sungod, as I have a silver level cable I was going to combine the two, to be more of a deterrent than anything else. Bike would only be left where there was plenty of footfall any way. Again that isn't foolproof but just another string to the bow as it were.

Thanks ryan have actually gone for an Abus granit lock, with sufficient deterence to match the bike value, which isn't mega.
