Which bike to purchase???

I'm looking on upgrading my bike but I'm unsure which one to get as I'm only just starting out, I'm stuck between the Norco Sight A7.1 2016 Or the Giant Trance 27.5 1 Mountain Bike 2015.
Or any other that's at good starting point thanks.

    What kind of riding do you envisage doing? Long xc type rides? Or something a little more 'extreme' ie trails with drops and jumps?

    Ye more like trails, not sure if you've heard of Cannock chase? But that's were I've started to go but my current bike isn't really up to that level an I don't wana start up grading it farther just get one ready built for that kind of terrain

    The Giant is great, I'm very satisfied with mine, does everything I expect it to and further.

    I think we've all heard of Cannock!

    Either will be more of a bike than you'll need on the red routes and both will cope with the black sections easily.

    Any decent 100mm hardtail is fine for the reds, it's what I used to use.
    Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.
