Right, what's the story then? White lines?

Much debate on FB about this. By the sound of it, it was a bit more than the usual 1 or 2 over the white line...

There's a video on youtube which suggests many were. But I wonder how they managed to confirm 1 and 2 did not but, say, 33, did and didn't get 3rd.....

That's logical. Unclear from the video. The fb discussion is good fun. Claims that it wasn't necessarily "white lines" but pretty much every single person "racing dangerously"

As above - first two were away, which is why they didn't get DQ'd. The comms deemed the rest as being 'collectively guilty' or something...

Some of the racing on the roads has been absolutely appalling in terms of riders taking risks this year. Punishments seem to vary depending on the region but I've been in 4 races that have been stopped (for good reason) half way through and that's in E/1/2!

on the 2 road races I hosted there were no racers doing the wrong thing. this sounds like a worst case scenario.

I'd missed this but glad to see this done at last. I've given up on racing (riding and organising) as there are too many idiots who think 10 points and £30 is worth risking your own, and others, safety / life for. Who was the commisaire?
