Fruit smoothie for breakfast then had to drive in so I can ferry the girl about later this morning. Might pedal back to work after that. The urgent emails have been dealt with, now to deal with the dross. Cup of tea and a couple of bourbons have helped. Need someone else to bother coming in and make me a cup of tea soon or I might have to go myself.
Haven't woken up enough to decide what mood I'm in, probably grumpy then.

I'm sitting in my office with the room spinning, no one else has noticed yet, quite tempted to close my door and have a nap. Any tips for sobering up quick?

Lots of food, anything you can lay your hands on and get it into your gob pronto.

My colleagues still don't suspect a thing, lots of tea and bike videos on repeat I think. Luckily there is a truck stop cafe place next door so I'll get an all day breakfast in a bit

Considering my Mrs shouted at us for playing guitar at 4am and I was in work for 8am I'd be surprised if I make it that long without dying.

Work meh in Chester today, followed by dropping the wife off for a night out - which means I will probably either working or striping wallpaper later - neither option appeals

As it is not past half 2 I can only assume Hayden has died. Sad times.

My day is living up to Bob Geldoff's view of Mondays. Had to be in earlier than usual for a very boring team meeting, So although I was in an hour early I am still 2 hours down on a normal day! pfft! looks windy outside too.

She shouted at him for making noise and being drunk at 4am, she'd be no good to you.

Was the last word intentional? Because if it was I like it!

Are you going to paint the stripes on? :P

Good pedal in today, great conditions and one of those days when the traffic lights all seem to be on green. Bound to be a right bastard ride home. Still trying to sort out summer holidays but also planning a gravity based 2 days away in July before we go anywhere flat and boring :)

I've just been on a six minute summer holiday so am hoping the thread title is appropriate!

Question is what job does he have that allows him to turn up drunk on a Monday morning with little consequence? I reckon he's an MP.

The OP must be referring to me.

    The likely whereabouts of HaydenM:

    1. Mortuary.
    2. Park Bench.
    3. In the pub ignoring the phone calls and wandering how to tell the missus he needs to find another job.

Me happy me. Last collection of oil today. Said Proprietor said that over the years, she had many suppliers who wanted to collect oil but as we were so reliable, she said 'No'.

    Laters.

Sorry to spoil the fun, I'm still alive... Just. I pretended I hadn't slept much due to a stomach bug and they left me alone in my office all afternoon.

I call dibs on his bikes.
Unfortunately they are all rather on the small side for most people
