Single speed - shortening chain

I've used my SS for a while, I've moved the wheel fully back, the wheel placement bolts are fully in.

Do you think it's best to remove 1 link, so that the wheel sits a little bit more forward?

    I used to keep it roughly mid way, I'd move it back 2 times by which point the chain was knackered.

    Had a quick look. Loosened through frame bolts, pushed all the way forward, but I would need to remove a link so both inners are on either side, if I just remove the first pin then I'll have a outer (so the quick link won't fit) so if I move up to the pin with the inner, the wheel is too far up and too tight.

    Just have to leave it as it is.

    Chain stretch tool shows it's ok though.
