    Okay...

Here she is and I think she's a stunner! Couple of observations I'm already making:
    1) I'm going to ditch the red cables for just black ones
    2) I've ordered CeramicSpeed red jockey wheels for the rear mech

Looks great. I think black bar tape is always best.

And I'd have photographed it without the seat pack. Always spoils the look of a frame.

Yeah, the tape is getting changed too. Just happened to have that stuff to hand already.

It's lovely but can't help thinking it would have been much lighter (sub 7kgs) with some light weight carbon rims rather than the 42mm alu ones which weigh 600g each or more. Remove saddle bag and black bar tape and it will be perfect.
  • She's a beauty. Will you go for the red bar tape?

Putting black bar tape on this week.

Have a pair of Edco carbon wheels going on... photo to follow later today :)

    Just a few changes...

Plain black bar tape and starting swapping those stupid cables for just plain black outers.

Also have a nice set of Edco training wheels, saving the handbuilts for the decent days (or flatter days).

The red CeramicSpeed jockey wheels are gone too because... they were a massive waste of money and ridiculous to maintain.

I'm crap at looking after bikes :( I'm a bike wrecker.

But I shall, erm, have someone clean my chain and cassette tomorrow ;)

That's really nice - and just had a look online, those frames are surprisingly decent value compared to other aero frames I've looked at.

It's a really nice frame, I'm very happy with it.

I've had a few random aero bikes over recent years, an ADR Flow and a Moda Finale amongst others and I didn't enjoy riding any of them as much as I enjoy riding this.

    Nice looking bike..
  • Looks nice that . Even better with the suitcase removed from the saddle.

As for the alloy wheels, weight means very little on some of the shitty roads we have to ride.
Trek,,,, too cool for school ,, apparently

Thats a very nice looking frameset!

What is the weight of your Handbuilt wheelset? They look a pretty solid build.

Bordering around 1.9kg, very robust wheels that just roll absolutely amazingly.

As an update, as of today, these now have tanned sidewalls and the bike looks even sexier. New Vittoria Corsa G+'s.

I'm still looking at other bits to change. It'll probably be stem and handlebar combo next.
