    Two things:
    • I am not allowed to buy yet another bike...
    • I have all the bike I need or want for the road already

    If you were to take my bike away and give me a blank cheque for a new one, I would buy the same bike again - even though it only cost £600 (in fact I did - when there was an offer, I bought a backup for when I wear this one out!)

    Having said that, I would love a Ti bike built to the exact same spec and geometry as my current bike. But I refer you back to the first point above...

    In other news - I just bought another Alpha Jersey! My body has shrunk and I want to try the next size down (and want one in red)... I nearly made an offer on BTR's old one he was selling, looked online and found I could buy a new one with 365 day returns for just £7 more than BTR was asking - so its all his fault again.

    So I absolutely love the jacket so far. First proper test this morning and unfortunately I was still soaked, but I doubt anything would have kept me dry in those conditions, so I'm not too worried...

    I went out on Boxing Day in my Mossa. I got soaked, but it was the day when mass flooding happened. Even a duck would've got soaked. When the rain is that bad it will find it's way in through your neck

    So, thinking of designing a custom short sleeve Mossa for my blog. Anyone interested?

    Will look a bit like this but in short sleeve. I might go black and lime rather than black and red though.

    This one would carry a wide logo nicely: GIACCA-MOSSA-MC-C519_Fronte.jpg

    or maybe add some zing to your logo using something like: Roubaix.jpg

    That's the one I'd customise. So imagine that in black and red, or black and lime.

    Where is the best (Cheapest :) ) place to but a mossa? I have tried a friends, so I know the right size but I'm not able to find them online...

    To be honest I would recommend that you try a Mossa on to get the fit right. It needs to fit very tight to get the best performance out of it.

    Got a SS Mossa in fluoro green XL for sale.
    Just a little too big for me if anyone's interested.

    Hello everyone,

    I’d like to ask for an update after several years of use. Are you still using the Mossa as your go-to winter jersey/jacket?

    I’m struggling between the Parentini Mossa, Castelli Perfetto long sleeve, the Castelli Alpha RoS and the FWE King of the Downs Softshell.

    Here’s my personal situation: I live on the coast in northern Spain. It gets quite humid in winter, but not precisely cold (min. temp over 7C). It can definitely rain a lot but in those cases I’ll surely stay in bed (I don’t cycle for commuting).

    For these reason the Alpha seems a bit too warm. My preferred one is the Perfetto, since I find it at an affordable price (140€) at a local dealer (which I really appreciate). The technology of the Mossa sounds even better, but there are no Parentini dealers in Spain to try it on and aesthetically I don’t like it as much as the Perfetto. The price will be also higher. On the other side, the FWE KotD works as good as the Perfetto/Gabba (if not better) according to some reviews, and the price is a bargain, but somehow I find difficult to understand it is comparable in quality with such a big price difference.

    Sizing wise I’m a bit problematic since between M and L.

    Do you have any advice?

    Similar here in Ireland. Never many days below 3°C and plenty of rain.

    Can't comment too much on the Mossa but I'd definitely vote for the bioracer tempest range.

    Thank you Sinbad, I had no idea about this brand and it doesn't seem to be available in Spain. In principle I'll avoid adding another variable in the list unless really better than the others.
