Inner tube

Does any one use them inner tube with green slim on them, hood are no good?

    I did a few years ago, didn't work very well (just barely got me 10km home), and haven't bothered since

    I've heard of people putting stans sealant in inner tubes but never tried it myself so don't know if it works or not.

    Use them on my town hack bike and carry no repair kit (if it punctures I'll walk the 1.9 miles!) came back one day to spot a nail (panel pin) going through the tread, through the tyre and tube and back out the sidewall, it had lost about 10psi, removed the pin, spluttered a bit until it sealed, pumped it back up......
    Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.
