View New Posts opens new window

On my iPad and iPhone at least, the red "New Posts" link in each forum like "Road" opens a whole new window. Why is that? I just end up with loads of new windows open....

    That's a feature not a bug in the code.......

    Opens a new window on my PC running Firefox. This never used to happen. No other forum software opens a new window when you view new posts.

    I find this a little bit annoying.
