Currently in the market for a new helmet. Been looking at the MET rivale and the slightly more expensive Giro Synthe.

My question is for those out there with either is, what are both of the helmets like-feel, ventilation, appearance etc.? and is the Giro Synthe worth its hefty price tag?

Cheers in advance :!:

Whether or not its worth the hefty price im not sure, but I do love my synthe.

Its extremely comfortable (despite having minimal padding inside), light and has excellent ventilation.
    Not to mention looking awesome!

The sunglasses slots are useful but take a bit of getting used to.

I have only ever used Giro & Bell before but this is by far the best I have owned.
  • I'm in the same position, but can't find the Synthe MIPS below £197 (Wiggle) at the moment..

Helmets are helmets. Get whichever has the best fit.
